Building value for odor is the most critical step in any dog's scent work journey. "The Scent-Stack" Pairing Block is the ultimate foundational tool for teaching dogs that finding the target odor pays out big!
This meticulously engineered four-piece system ensures your dog makes an immediate, positive association with the target odor, all while keeping your scent swabs completely safe from enthusiastic sniffers and snackers.
Smart Four-Piece Architecture: This block breaks down into four perfectly fitted components for ultimate odor control and safety:
-
The Main Base Box: The sturdy foundation where you place your scented Q-tips at the very bottom.
-
The Scent Baffle (Bottom Insert): Features a smaller center hole and drops in over the swabs, creating a secure, elevated shelf to hold the treat tray.
-
The Paw-Print Treat Tray: Sits perfectly on the baffle shelf. Load this up with high-value treats! The paw-print venting grate allows the odor to plume up through the food while keeping the Q-tips safely separated to prevent cross-contamination or accidental ingestion.
-
The Focus-Funneling Top Insert: The final cover features a larger, snout-friendly opening that naturally guides your dog's nose straight into the odor plume and their reward, encouraging a deep, committed indication.
Two Perfect Sizes: Available in both Small (5 inch) and Large (7.5 inch). Whether you are working with a petite terrier or need a wider opening for a larger breed's snout, you can choose the exact size that prevents frustration and keeps them in the game.
Perfect for: Introducing beginner dogs to the sport, foundational pairing, building value for odor without handler interference, and ensuring absolute safety for enthusiastic, food-driven dogs.
